Wolters Kluwer Health is gearing up to participate in the upcoming ANCC Magnet/Pathway Conference, slated for October 12-14, 2023, in Chicago, Illinois. As a steadfast supporter of the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), Wolters Kluwer is set to spotlight its expert solutions, applications, and products that directly contribute to the professional development of nurses. The Wolters Kluwer Health exhibition will be hosted in the McCormick Place Convention Center, South Building, Hall A, at booth #1803.

On October 12, at 2 pm, Ovid Synthesis users from Sentara Healthcare and Montefiore Medical Center will lead a speaking session addressing the challenges faced by large, multi-hospital health systems in current research, evidence-based practice (EBP), and quality improvement (QI) processes. The session, held on the exhibit hall presentation stage, will explore the impact of new technology on innovation and the delivery of quality patient care. Key speakers include: Dr. Mary Ellen Lindros, Assistant Vice President of Professional Practice and Nursing Quality Officer, Montefiore Medical Center; Una T. Hopkins, BSN, MSN, FNP-BC, DNP, Director of Nursing Research, Montefiore Medical Center; Suzanne Duncan, Director of Library Services, Sentara Healthcare; and Dr. Angela Toepp, Director of System Research, Sentara Healthcare and Community Assistant Professor, Department of Internal Medicine, Eastern Virginia Medical School.

Lippincott Solutions offers an integrated, cloud-based clinical solution suite that aligns with Magnet and Pathway program components, supporting clinical excellence and the development of nursing staff. The suite aims to create a safe, high-quality practice environment that encourages excellence, innovation, and collaboration while promoting nurse role development and retention.

Attendees are encouraged to visit Wolters Kluwer booth #1803 to share their clinical content and workflow needs with a Lippincott Solutions User Experience Designer. This valuable input will contribute to continuous platform enhancements relied upon by nurses daily.

Booth visitors will also have the opportunity to explore Ovid Synthesis, a nursing excellence workflow solution developed in collaboration with healthcare quality experts. The solution streamlines processes, advances training and knowledge, and provides infrastructure for Magnet or Pathway to Excellence designation and quality improvement initiatives.

Ovid Synthesis supports all five Magnet domains, and conference attendees can experience its capabilities first hand. By adopting this innovative solution, nurse leaders can foster a culture of evidence-based practice (EBP), empower their staff, and enhance quality and safety.

Wolters Kluwer Health is dedicated to providing trusted clinical technology and evidence-based solutions that engage clinicians, patients, researchers, and students in effective decision-making and healthcare outcomes. This division of Wolters Kluwer supports clinical effectiveness, learning and research, clinical surveillance and compliance, as well as data solutions.
