CHORUS has joined the Coalition for Diversity and Inclusion in Scholarly Communications (C4DISC) as part of its ongoing commitment to fostering diversity and inclusivity within the scholarly communication landscape.
CHORUS, like many other organizations in the industry, acknowledges the immense value of a diverse array of perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences. As a member of C4DISC, it will work collaboratively to develop and implement policies, practices, and resources that prioritize diversity and inclusion within the board and committee membership.
Accessibility and equity are at the heart of CHORUS’ mission: to ensure that the outputs of funded research are discoverable across the scholarly publishing ecosystem and accessible to researchers everywhere. CHORUS is hosting a forum on Supporting Accessibility on October 24th to discuss standards, best practices, and resources to help make systems and content more accessible.
