Key highlights of the webinar include presentations by distinguished speakers: Dr. Jo Havemann: Co-founder of AfricArXiv, Dr. Havemann will shed light on how Open Access supports endeavors to enhance the discoverability of research from and about Africa; Prof. Tatiana Morosuk: Editorial Board Member of IntechOpen's ACRT Journal and sustainable energy research author, Prof. Morosuk will focus on Open Access publishing in emerging green energy technologies and its contribution to a greener and sustainable future; and Sara Crowley Vigneau: Partnerships Manager at Zendy, who will explore how collaboration among key stakeholders in Open Access - researchers, publishers, and libraries - can support the dissemination of content in underserved communities. Additionally, she will delve into how AI-powered technologies can facilitate more equitable access.
