Association of Research Libraries (ARL) 2024 Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility in Libraries & Archives (IDEAL) Conference is scheduled to be held from July 15–17, 2024, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The 2024 conference theme is Sustainable Resistance and Restoration in Global Communities. Participants have the opportunity to choose from 90+ sessions across 10 tracks, learn from almost 200 speakers and presenters, and acquire new knowledge, skills, attitudes, and awareness about how to sustain diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and justice (DEIAJ) efforts across their communities.
Previously known as the National Diversity in Libraries Conference (NDLC), ARL IDEAL is a triennial experience that raises awareness and appreciation of workplace diversity issues through the exploration of theory and practice in libraries and archives. IDEAL 2024 is on the web at events.arl.org/IDEAL24/landing.
