The Company of Biologists proudly announces a new Read & Publish Open Access (OA) agreement with the Korean E-resource Service for Library Consortium (KESLI) and the Korean Council for University Education (KCUE) Consortium in the Republic of Korea.
This landmark agreement, effective from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2026, extends valuable benefits to hundreds of member institutions across the Republic of Korea. It marks The Company of Biologists' first consortium agreement in the Republic of Korea, with LIS KOREA playing a pivotal role in facilitating the partnership.
Under this agreement, corresponding authors from participating institutions in the Republic of Korea can publish an unlimited number of research articles immediately Open Access (OA) in The Company of Biologists' hybrid journals, including Development, Journal of Cell Science, and Journal of Experimental Biology, as well as in its fully Open Access journals, Disease Models & Mechanisms and Biology Open, without incurring article processing charges (APCs). Additionally, researchers at participating institutions gain unrestricted access to The Company of Biologists' hybrid journals, along with their complete archives dating back to 1853.
This Read & Publish agreement underscores The Company of Biologists' commitment to supporting Open Access initiatives and fostering collaboration with research communities worldwide.
