Elsevier, a world-leading provider of scientific, technical and medical information products and solutions, has announced the launch of a new open-access journal CMI Communications in partnership with ESCMID, Europe’s leading society in clinical microbiology and infectious diseases.
Complementing and integrating with ESCMID’s prestigious official journal Clinical Microbiology and Infection (CMI, Impact Factor 14.2), CMI Communications will publish manuscripts focusing on translational and clinical aspects of microbiology, infectious diseases and control, immunology, epidemiology, and public health. A 50% discounted rate for publication is available for authors accepted for publication in CMI Communications in 2024 and 2025.
CMI Communications is led by Editor-in-Chief Angela Huttner, MD, a research investigator and infectious disease physician at Geneva University Hospitals, Switzerland.
