Her extensive background includes positions at Universities UK, the Department for Education, the University of Oxford, as well as roles in journalism and bookselling. This diverse professional history underscores her capacity to lead communications efforts for the Publishers Association.
Ruth Howells has been a pivotal figure at the Publishers Association, contributing significantly to its communications strategies and initiatives. During her tenure, she played an integral role in advancing the Association's mission and visibility.
