The Association of Research Libraries (ARL) has announced the co-hosts of the 2025 Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Institute. The Indiana University Libraries Bloomington, Purdue University Libraries and School of Information Studies, and the UC San Diego Library will co-host the inaugural DEI Institute in Indianapolis, Indiana, Monday–Wednesday, March 17–19, 2025.
ARL Institutes are designed to meet the needs of ARL member representatives, senior leaders, and the broader community for a concentrated period on timely topics.
The ARL DEI Institute aims to increase the capacity of participants to effect positive change with and within their respective communities through the acquisition and application of specific knowledge, awareness, and skills related to DEI, organizational development, and leadership. This work is currently made possible through the generous support of an Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) Laura Bush 21st Century Librarian Program implementation grant (RE-254925-OLS-23).
