The 2024 Library Assessment Conference (LAC) is fast approaching, and with it, the opportunity to save on registration. The conference, set to take place from November 6-9, 2024, in Portland, Oregon, offers a rich program designed for professionals involved in library assessment, user experience, and organizational performance measurement.
The LAC will feature over 70 sessions, including papers, panels, learning labs, common reads, and posters. In addition, attendees can participate in pre- and post-conference workshops covering critical topics such as participatory design, diversity, equity, and inclusion in collections, library space planning, strategic planning, and the effective use of national datasets. These workshops are highly sought after and filling up quickly, so early registration is recommended.
Advance registration rates are available until August 15, offering a chance to save on both conference and workshop fees. With limited space available, early registration is crucial for those looking to secure their spot.
The Library Assessment Conference is co-hosted by the Association of Research Libraries and the University of Washington Libraries. The biennial event, now in its 10th edition, is expected to draw over 400 library professionals dedicated to advancing the field of library assessment.
