Keynote Speaker Announcement: Michele Avissar-Whiting, Director of Open Science Strategy at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI), will deliver the keynote address. With her extensive experience at Brown University and HHMI, Avissar-Whiting is set to offer a compelling exploration of the seminar’s theme, “From Trends to Tactics: Shaping Scholarly Publishing’s Near Future.”
Interactive Reverse Roundtables: Back by popular demand, the seminar will feature reverse roundtables where presenters and organizers rotate through discussions with both onsite and virtual attendees. These conversations will cover the conference’s three main themes: organizational transformation, the evolving research landscape, and workforce development in scholarly publishing.
