A decade ago, Wolters Kluwer joined forces with Laerdal Medical and the National League for Nursing to address one of the most pressing challenges in nursing education: the shortage of clinical sites. This new product immerses students in a metaverse-like virtual reality (VR) environment, enhancing their learning experience by simulating the high-pressure demands of real hospital settings. When used alongside vSim for Nursing, students can progress from single-patient care scenarios to managing multiple patients in a busy hospital, helping them develop vital clinical judgment and prioritization skills.
