Further to the initial conversation STM hosted at the end of May addressing publishers’ copyright agreements, Interested parties are encouraged to join in a second webinar, this one with a more specific topical focus and an emphasis on the current situation in the United States. STM General Counsel Molly Stech will engage in conversation with Seán O’Connor, Professor of Law at George Mason University Scalia School of Law. Rather than focus on contracts from a publishers’ perspective, this conversation seeks to explore and focus more on the point of view of researchers and writers who work within the framework of academia and need to understand and navigate the positions and realities inherent in the confluence of working with funders, universities, and publishers.
