The Canadian Research Knowledge Network (CRKN) Conference Planning Committee has officially opened the Call for Proposals for the 2025 CRKN Virtual Conference, which is scheduled to take place from May 13-15, 2025.
The theme for the 2025 conference is “Open Knowledges and Sustainable Futures.” CRKN invites proposals that address this theme by exploring how access to knowledge contributes to a better future. Topics of interest include promoting multiple ways of knowing and highlighting the role of open knowledge in supporting sustainable infrastructures, communities, and ecological systems.
The conference aims to showcase collaborative and innovative efforts that advance Canada’s knowledge ecosystem and contribute to societal sustainability. Organizations, researchers, and institutions are encouraged to share stories, case studies, and initiatives that demonstrate how they are driving open knowledge practices for a sustainable future.
Proposals can cover a range of perspectives and ideas related to open knowledge, including policy development, technological innovations, community engagement, and ecological impact.
The deadline to submit proposals is December 18, 2024. More details and submission guidelines can be found on the event website.
