Cranfield University has extended its flat fee publishing partnership with Frontiers, a leading open-access publisher, for 2025. The agreement enables Cranfield researchers to publish in any Frontiers journal without article processing charges (APCs).
By renewing the agreement, Cranfield ensures:
• Unlimited publishing opportunities for its researchers.
• Predictable annual costs, simplifying budgeting.
• Reduced administrative workload for library and research staff.
• Full open-access support, with all articles published under CC-BY licenses and retaining author copyrights.
Frontiers’ flat fee model aligns with the UK library sector’s push for sustainable and transparent open-access agreements. Cranfield researchers must use their institutional email when submitting to benefit from the agreement.
