Academic publisher Emerald Publishing has been shortlisted for Academic, Educational, and Professional Publisher of the Year at the 2025 British Book Awards (Nibbies).
The recognition follows a year of major milestones for Emerald, including:
• The acquisition of Information Age Publishing, expanding its academic portfolio.
• The launch of a new bookstore and Open Lab initiative, advancing open-access publishing.
• Recognition in the Times Top 50 Employers for Gender Equality and the Top 50 Inspiring Workplaces in the UK and Ireland.
The winners will be announced at the British Book Awards ceremony in London on May 12, 2025.
