Wiley has released the second edition of the Maurer, Meyer, Helfer, Weber: LC-HR-MS/MS Library of Drugs, Poisons, and Their Metabolites. The updated database, developed by toxicologist Hans H. Maurer and his team, expands a critical resource used for LC-MS identification in toxicology and related scientific fields.
The library provides over 5,500 mass spectra representing more than 2,300 parent substances and over 3,200 associated metabolites or artifacts, organized into more than 100 compound classes. The comprehensive dataset supports metabolite-based screening in both clinical and forensic toxicology applications.
The data is available through Wiley’s KnowItAll subscription platform, which is compatible with multiple instrument vendor formats. Additional format support for direct use with common vendor software will be released at a later date.
