The Confederation of Open Access Repositories (COAR) has announced that the COAR Notify functionality is now available to ePrints users. With the implementation of COAR Notify, ePrints repositories will be able to link articles with related resources, like datasets or peer reviews, that live on other COAR Notify-enabled platforms. The feature allows participation in the Publish, Review, Curate ecosystem, where authors can request reviews or endorsements from overlay services like Peer Community In.
Funded by the Arcadia Fund and developed by CoSector at the University of London, the release includes two plug-ins: COAR Notify v1.0, which provides the core Linked Data Notifications infrastructure and repository linking, and PCI v1.0, which supports Peer Community In workflows. Both are available for EPrints v3 and v3.4+.
