Anshu Dubey, senior computational scientist at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Argonne National Laboratory, has been appointed Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of High Performance Computing Applications (IJHPCA).
The open access quarterly journal publishes peer-reviewed research on the use of supercomputers in complex modeling across scientific disciplines. It emphasizes user experiences with high-performance computing systems in addition to research outcomes.
Dubey has served as a subject area editor for the journal and will share editorial responsibilities with Bronis de Supinski. Her research focuses on software productivity and sustainability in high-performance computing, with contributions to multiphysics simulation codes such as FLASH and Flash-X.
She joined Argonne’s Mathematics and Computer Science division in 2015, following roles at the University of Chicago and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. For Argonne, the appointment comes at a time of rapid change in computing technologies and the integration of AI into scientific workflows.
