Pensoft Publishers has partnered with the Faculty of Dental Medicine at Medical University Sofia to co-publish Problems of Dental Medicine, a peer-reviewed journal with a publishing history dating back to 1973.
The journal covers research in dental medicine, public dental health, and healthcare. It publishes research and review articles and short communications, as well as methods, data, and forum papers in a wide range of disciplines in dental sciences. Supported by the university, it provides authors with free publication, and recent and backlist content is available online.
By joining Pensoft, the journal gains access to the publisher’s ARPHA platform, an end-to-end digital publishing system that streamlines the editorial process from manuscript submission to peer review, editing, publication, and archiving. The platform enhances visibility and discoverability, making research more accessible for broader use.
The collaboration is expected to expand the journal’s international reach while maintaining its established tradition as a venue for dental science research.
