The JAMA Network has introduced JAMA+ Women’s Health, a digital resource designed to broaden access to peer-reviewed content on women’s healthcare. The new resource will curate scholarship from across JAMA and its 12 affiliated journals, providing visibility for studies that focus on or include women.
The platform seeks to address the need for more comprehensive approaches to women’s health, extending beyond reproductive care to conditions such as gynecologic and breast cancer, menopause, and other health domains. Content includes a library of hundreds of peer-reviewed articles, as well as multimedia content such as expert interviews, podcasts, and explainer features.
JAMA+ Women’s Health is led by Editor-in-Chief Linda Brubaker, who will oversee content selection and curation. The initiative forms part of the broader JAMA+ network of channels, which is aimed at amplifying specialized areas of medical scholarship.
By consolidating and elevating research in women’s health, the JAMA Network intends to make scholarship in this field more accessible to practitioners, researchers, and policy leaders worldwide.
