STM has announced the appointment of Claudia Russo as Director of Public Affairs EU and Deputy Global Director of Public Affairs. The expanded role recognizes her leadership and contributions to STM’s policy engagement since joining the organization in 2020.
Previously serving as Senior Manager of Public Affairs EU, Russo has played a key role in advancing STM’s public policy priorities in Europe. In her new position, she will continue to lead regional initiatives while also supporting STM’s CEO in driving the organization’s global public affairs strategy.
The appointment reflects STM’s commitment to strengthening its advocacy and engagement on key issues across the scholarly publishing landscape.
