Canadian Science Publishing has opened submissions for Contaminants, Environment, and Society, a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to interdisciplinary research on environmental contaminants. The journal aims to support research addressing complex contamination challenges that require collective and interdisciplinary approaches.
The journal is led by co-Editors-in-Chief Dr. Lisa Loseto and Dr. Laurie Chan, supported by a team of Associate Editors representing a range of fields and disciplines. They will oversee a double-anonymous peer review process to ensure the publication of high-quality and trustworthy studies covering varied topics and knowledge systems.
Submissions are invited across Research, Methods, Data, and Review categories addressing environmental contamination, ecotoxicology, and health and wellbeing. The journal will also consider Perspective and Note articles offering insights into contaminants-related issues and outcomes of community engagement initiatives.
Contaminants, Environment, and Society joins the publisher’s portfolio of fully open-access journals, which includes FACETS, Arctic Science, and Drone Systems and Applications, reinforcing a commitment to open and accessible science. To support authors and reduce financial barriers, a generous waiver policy is in place during the journal’s first year of accepting submissions.
Additional details on submitting and publishing open access in the journal are available through the editorial office.
