IGI Global Scientific Publishing has entered into an Open Access publishing agreement with Columbia University Libraries.
Through the agreement, Columbia University-affiliated authors receive a 5% discount on Article Processing Charges (APCs) and Chapter Processing Charges (CPCs) when publishing in IGI Global Scientific Publishing’s Open Access Journal Program. The Open Access Journal Program is described as including nearly 200 journals across Business & Management, Science, Technology, & Medicine (STM), and Education & Social Sciences. By publishing Open Access under CC BY licensing, affiliated authors are described as gaining increased discoverability, visibility, and citation impact across hundreds of journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science.
