The Council of Science Editors (CSE) Annual Meeting 2026 will convene editorial professionals from science and publishing to discuss current challenges and developments in the field. Session topics include allyship and antiracism, data sharing policies, multimedia in scholarly communication, research integrity and AI, mentoring editors in the Global South, evolving editorial workflows, diversity in peer review, production metrics, international perspectives, public access mandates, peer reviewer recognition, strategic planning, licensing issues, the publishing job market, resilience against burnout, communication practices, DOI metadata quality, and the use of author and engagement data to inform editorial strategy.
