Intelligent Computing appoints Philip S. Yu and Osmar R. Zaïane as Editors-in-Chief -

Intelligent Computing, a Science Partner Journal co-founded by Zhejiang Lab and the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), has appointed Philip S. Yu and Osmar R. Zaïane as its new Editors-in-Chief.

Yu and Zaïane succeed the founding editors at a stage when the journal is experiencing rapid growth as an international open-access publication focused on the convergence of intelligence and computing.

Launched in 2022, Intelligent Computing publishes original research, reviews, perspectives, and software and database articles across areas including artificial intelligence, machine learning, computational science, quantum computing, computational imaging, intelligent communications, and AI for science.

The journal has achieved several milestones since its launch, including indexing in ESCI, Scopus, EI Compendex, and DOAJ. In the latest Journal Citation Reports released by Clarivate, it received an Impact Factor of 6.4, ranking in Q1 for Computer Science, Theory & Methods; Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence; and Computer Science, Interdisciplinary Applications.

The appointment of Yu and Zaïane marks a new phase in the journal’s development. Under their leadership, Intelligent Computing aims to expand its international reach, strengthen academic impact, and promote interdisciplinary collaborations that advance intelligent computing and AI-driven science.
