The STM Regional APAC Seminar will feature Professor Ginny Barbour, Co‑Chair of the Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA) and Editor‑in‑Chief of the Medical Journal of Australia. Professor Barbour will provide updates on DORA’s ongoing initiatives and her advisory role in developing regional guidelines for the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Open Science Alliance (APECOSA). With a distinguished career spanning clinical haematology, editorial leadership at The Lancet and PLOS Medicine, and contributions to international open access and research integrity efforts, she brings extensive expertise in scholarly communication. This seminar offers an opportunity to gain insights into evolving practices in research assessment, open science, and integrity frameworks across the Asia‑Pacific region.
