The IntechOpen Sustainable Development Collection has been made available on ScienceOpen, an interactive research discovery platform designed to help scholars organize, access, and engage with open research. The collaboration aims to enhance the visibility and impact of scholarly content related to sustainability.
The collection brings together peer‑reviewed open access resources supporting sustainability research. It includes articles from the Green Energy and Environmental Technology journal, books from the Environmental Sciences and Sustainable Development series, and titles connected to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
By consolidating these resources into a single thematic hub, the collection provides researchers with easier access to sustainability‑focused content across environmental sciences, sustainable development, and related fields.
IntechOpen emphasized that publishing open access research is only the first step, and ensuring discoverability is equally important. The organization noted that the Sustainable Development Collection on ScienceOpen supports greater visibility for authors’ work while advancing sustainability research and contributing to the UN SDGs.
