CABI has entered into a three‑year publication agreement with University College Dublin (UCD), Ireland. Under the arrangement, author fees are fully covered for publishing in CABI’s journals. The agreement includes five fully open access titles.
Agriculture and the agri‑food sector play a central role in Ireland’s economy, with UCD recognized for its research in agriculture, forestry, and veterinary science. These areas closely align with CABI’s publishing scope, making the journals a suitable platform for UCD researchers.
Corresponding authors affiliated with UCD can publish in the following journals without article processing charges (APCs):
• CABI Agriculture and Bioscience
• CABI Multifunctional Landscapes
• European Journal of Horticultural Science
This marks the third open access institutional agreement related to CABI’s journals. It reflects the growing impact of the portfolio and its role within CABI’s broader publishing program, which also includes established resources such as CAB Abstracts.
