Wiley has launched Advanced Medicine and Advanced Healthy Aging, two new open access journals that expand its Advanced Portfolio and support research addressing major health challenges.
The new titles join recently launched journals including Advanced Oncology, Advanced Brain, and Advanced Immunology, bringing the Advanced Portfolio to more than 30 journals across a broad range of scientific disciplines.
Advanced Medicine is dedicated to publishing significant advances in medical science. The journal takes a bench-to-bedside-to-population approach, covering translational research, digital health, AI-driven clinical intelligence, and population health policy. It is led by Editor-in-Chief Sui Seng Tee with Deputy Editors Xiaoyu Zhang and Alberto Oliveira Justo.
Advanced Healthy Aging focuses on the science of aging, healthspan, and factors that influence aging outcomes. The journal covers molecular biology, clinical and translational science, population research, and public health, with an emphasis on healthy aging trajectories. It is led by Editor-in-Chief Yixin Yao.
Allyn Molina, Group Vice President of Publishing Development at Wiley, said that the Advanced Portfolio is designed to help researchers find the most suitable platform for impactful scientific research. Molina noted that the addition of journals covering medicine and aging biology continues the portfolio's expansion while maintaining its established editorial standards and author-focused approach.
Anchored by flagship journals Advanced Science and Advanced Materials, the Advanced Portfolio aims to support researchers through a collaborative publishing model and streamlined publication process.
