The National Federation of Abstracting and Information Services (NFAIS) will hold a one-day workshop on November 22, 2013. The workshop ‘Open Access to Published Research: Current Status and Future Directions’ will be held from 9:00am – 5:00pm EST in Philadelphia, PA and virtual attendance is an option. This workshop will take a look at the current state of open access to published research and the significant social, financial, technical and legislative forces that are driving it.
