The P2L (Publishers Reporting to Libraries) Summit will be jointly convened by the Association of American University Presses (AAUP), the Association of Research Libraries (ARL), and the Coalition for Networked Information (CNI). The inaugural event will bring together teams of university press directors and library deans/directors with an administrative relationship (most typically involving the press reporting into the library). These teams will work in small groups in a series of working sessions to share experiences, discuss challenges, and begin to develop a set of better practices, documented in a white paper, for building and strengthening effective partnerships of this type.
