The 4th Sustainable Publishing Forum (SPF 2025) will convene in Barcelona, November 13-14, 2025, to foster global collaboration and advance sustainable scholarly publishing practices. This international forum, building on the success of previous editions, will explore critical issues including Innovations in scholarly publishing, Quality and editorial concepts in scholarly publishing, Generative AI in scholarly publishing, Legal and intellectual property challenges, and Scientometrics using open data. A highlight will be the panel discussion, “Will Gen AI kill editorial publishing?”, will convene stakeholders from various sectors of the publishing industry for a roundtable discussion, fostering dialogue on common challenges and pathways to collaboration.
