BookExpo America 2006 will be held at the Washington, D.C., Convention Center from May 18 - 21. the event is by far the single largest gathering of authors in the world making it the only meeting ground where so many professionals may come face to face with the writers who make their work possible. Similar in tradition to some of the most notable film festivals, BEA is a place to preview new releases as well as to meet the artists responsible for these releases.
