The International Council for Scientific and Technical Information (ICSTI) will hold its 2026 Annual Conference on August 6–7 in Seoul, South Korea. The two‑day program includes the ICSTI General Assembly and workshops co‑organized with the IFLA SciTech Committee.
The conference will address technical, legal, and governance frameworks to safeguard research quality, integrity, and equity as artificial intelligence becomes integrated into scientific information systems. Open workshops will feature Analysis of Scientific Text: Strategies and Use Cases led by Wikimedia Korea, and Trust, Integrity, and Governance for STI in the AI Era, focusing on accountability and policy alignment for trustworthy STI services.
