The 2024 NISO Plus Global/Online conference, set to take place on September 17-18 and the preliminary program is now available. As with all NISO Plus events, the focus is on identifying problems in the scholarly ecosystem that the community can solve together. The program includes discussions on persistent identifiers and metadata, emerging technologies and AI in scholarly publishing, research integrity, open research and open research infrastructure, open data, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility in scholarly communications. With speakers representing libraries, publishers, and service/scholarly infrastructure providers from around the world, the conference offers a variety of perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing the global information community.
