The Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers (ALPSP) and the Society for Scholarly Publishing (SSP) will conduct a seminar on preprint repositories on November 28, 2005, in London. Speakers will discuss and review the impact of preprint repositories on journal publishing. The content that is deposited in the repositories and the role of authors and institutions in preprint repositories will be analysed.
