The Association of American Publishers Journals Committee is organising a seminar on August 18, 2005 in New York to discuss the importance of XML in professional and scholarly publishing. Topics for discussion include the role of XML in editing, production, marketing and access. The four-hour event will be attended by representatives from CrossRef, Electronic Publishing Associates and the Nature Publishing Group. Bill Kasdorf, General Editor, The Columbia Guide to Digital Publishing, and Vice President, Apex, will anchor the seminar.
