The EU-funded ACTIVE ('Enabling the knowledge powered enterprise') and MUSING ('Multi-industry, semantic-based next generation business intelligence') projects are organising a workshop on ontology-supported business intelligence (OBI'08) on 26 and 27 October in Karlsruhe, Germany. The workshop aims to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners from both academic and commercial backgrounds in this emerging application area for semantic technology. It will also serve as a facilitator for bringing business intelligence and data mining research closer to the semantic web community.
