STM Week 2021

The event will be held from December 7-9, 2021. STM conducts Innovations Seminar on the first day, Digital Publishing Seminar on the next day, and Programme TBC on the last day. The event has registration fees, and cancellations made in writing up to 30 days before an event are eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds can be made for cancellations received on or after 30 days prior to the event date, however, substitutions may be made free of charge at any time.

Frankfurter Buchmesse 2021

The book Fair will be held on October 20-24, 2021. Dedicated to the topic “re:connect”, this year’s book fair is planned as an in-person event with additional digital formats, and can be flexibly adapted to pandemic-related developments. The focus will be on the international rights business and public events. This year’s Guest of Honour is Canada.

STM Autumn Conference 2021

The conference will be held from October 18-19, 2021, at Hilton Frankfurt City Centre. STM’s Annual Frankfurt Conference has established itself as the ‘sell out’ event prior to the Book Fair. Attracting the leading figures from across scholarly and professional publishing, STM’s event provides a program focused on strategic thinking, public policy, business models and key drivers shaping the future of the STM industry.

Event Date: October 18-19, 2021

The London Book Fair 2021

The book fair will be held from June 29, 2021 to July 1, 2021, at Olympia London. The London Book Fair is the global marketplace for rights negotiation and the sale and distribution of content across print, audio, TV, film and digital channels. In 2021, the Book Fair celebrates its 50-year anniversary. Staged annually, the Fair welcomes more than 25,000 publishing professionals to London for the week of the fair to learn, network, and kick off their year of business.

Event Date: June 29, 2021 to July 1, 2021

SSP 43rd Annual Meeting

The meeting will be held on May 24-27, 2021. The structure of the meeting will reflect what new insights and strategies have been discovered and implemented? What are the possibilities that have yet to be realized? How will SSP responses change the future of scholarly communications? How should SSP responsibility to the larger academic ecosystem during the extraordinary time shape those responses? The meeting will be ‘virtual first’ and include the ability for attendees to fully participate from their homes or offices.

DAM New York 2021

The event will be held on April 29-30, 2021, in New York Hilton Midtown. DAM New York is a unique environment to exchange knowledge, share experiences and build long-lasting professional networks. STM Spring Conference 2021

The conference will be held from April 27-29, 2021, and explores the timely and important topics of cybersecurity and article sharing. The conference has registration fees, and cancellations made in writing up to 30 days before an event are eligible for a 50% refund. No refunds can be made for cancellations received on or after 30 days prior to the event date, however, substitutions may be made free of charge at any time.

The NISO Plus conference

The conference will be held in February 22-25, 2021, through online. The conference is a continuation of the NFAIS Annual Conference. The NISO Plus Conference is a place where publishers, vendors, librarians, archivists, product managers, metadata specialists, and electronic resource managers come together to solve existing problems and have conversations that prevent future problems from ever occurring.
