Nominations to the CHORUS Board are now open! The CHORUS Board of Directors was elected by their membership last February during the Annual Members Meeting. Nominations are now being called for seats on the CHORUS Board that will be voted upon at the next CHORUS Annual Members Meeting scheduled for May 2020.
Appointments to the Board of Directors are for 3-year terms; the current Board was appointed under staggered terms to ensure continuity going forward. As per the bylaws the majority of Directors must be from member organisations and represent non-profit organisations. This December the CHORUS Nominating Committee will select a slate of Directors for election by the membership. CHORUS members are invited to propose candidates (names with short bios) by sending details to David Crotty (David.Crotty@oup.com) as Chair of the Nominating & Governance Committee. Nominations are due by December 13, 2019.
Formal notice of the meeting and vote will be sent in mid-March 2020 along with instructions for proxy voting for those who cannot attend. Notification of the election results will be sent to all CHORUS members after the event.
