UKSG has unveiled its 2023 Innovation Awards, an initiative designed to provide financial support to professionals and organizations striving to foster novel ideas and initiatives for the betterment of the information community.
This initiative warmly welcomes applications that embody UKSG's core values of learning, sharing, openness, and inclusion, aligning with one or more of the four key themes of the organization's strategic vision: include, connect, innovate, and deliver.
These themes distinctly reflect UKSG's unique role as a convergence point for the entire scholarly communications community.
Applications for funding ranging from £1,000 to £5,000 are eagerly awaited from all UKSG members, whether they are individuals (either members or within a member organization) or organizations across any location. The funding may be allocated to support events, projects, activities, or other associated costs, all of which will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Crucially, the proposed projects must align with UKSG's mission. Each application will undergo a thorough review by a subset of the Trustees, with up to five grants slated for allocation in 2023.
