In September 2022, Cell Press Multi-Journal Submission, previously known as "Community Review," became an integral part of the core offering for life and medical science authors. One year since its inception, the initiative has witnessed substantial growth, with a dedicated team of editors now numbering four, striving to keep up with the increasing volume of submissions.
Authors choosing Cell Press Multi-Journal Submission for their manuscripts gain the unique opportunity to have their work simultaneously considered by 25 prestigious titles, including five Cell Press-affiliated society journals and Device, the first physical sciences journal to participate. Remarkably, over 80% of submitted papers are offered review for one or more of these participating journals.
The name change from "Community Review" to Cell Press Multi-Journal Submission signifies not only the initiative's success but also its evolution.
Stay tuned for a monthly series of Q&As featuring authors who have published via Cell Press Multi-Journal Submission. Recent authors highlighted include Martin Riccomagno, Zhijian Cai, Daisuke Komura, Shumpei Ishikawa, Clint Allen, Sandro Santagata, Eva Huber, Michael Groll, and Eric Ortlund.
