2026 McGraw Hill Pathfinder Award nominations open for Innovative Educators -

McGraw Hill is accepting nominations for the fourth annual Pathfinder Award, which will recognize three educators—one each from preK–12, higher education, and post-graduate education—whose innovative teaching helps learners discover and pursue their paths to success.

Each honoree will receive a $5,000 cash prize and a Professional Learning Consultation from CAST, a learning design, research, and professional services organization focused on inclusive learning.

Nominations may be submitted by the educators themselves or by an educator, administrator, student, family member, or friend. Submissions should include a brief explanation of how the nominee has demonstrated innovation and inventiveness in their approach to teaching, with an optional video or photo to illustrate impact.

Eligibility does not require being a McGraw Hill customer. The 2026 selection will highlight approaches that break new ground in pedagogy, support student success through creative problem-solving, and demonstrate positive learning outcomes.

Recent honorees have been recognized for integrating emerging technologies such as augmented reality and artificial intelligence to reduce barriers to hands-on learning. Nominations are due by 11:59 p.m. ET on February 13, 2026, and winners will be announced in May 2026.
