The programme and first confirmed speakers for the event, 3DMedLIVE 2019: 3D printing in surgery, have been announced, in conjunction with accreditation from the Royal College of Surgeons of England for up to 10.5 CPD points.
Scheduled to be held in London (UK) on October 2–3, 2019 and hosted by Future Science Group eCommunity, 3DMedNet, 3DMedLIVE: 3D printing in surgery aims to convene a community of innovation and best practice to advance surgical applications of 3D printing.
Boasting an impressive international conference Advisory Board and support from a number of prestigious media and commercial partners, 3DMedLIVE serves as a platform for the presentation and discussion of innovation in the healthcare industry, supported by a multidisciplinary and collaborative community.
The recently released programme includes discussion of topics surrounding the Future of Surgery and NHS Long Term Plan, questions regarding the regulation of 3D printed medical devices at present as well as in the near future, and even includes the subject of augmented reality and 3D technology in developing world surgery.
The full programme has also allocated space to case study presentations from surgeons and thought leaders in medical 3D printing supporting discussions with real world case studies and inspiration for innovative use of 3D technologies in medicine.
