4open has announced that Professor Dr. Stéphane Petoud has accepted the position of Editor-in-Chief for Chemistry - Applied Chemistry. He joins three other Editors-in-Chief - Björn L.D.M. Brücher, Life Sciences – Medicine; Elias Brinks, Physics - Applied Physics and Theodore E. Simos, Mathematics - Applied Mathematics - to complete 4open’s editorial board.
Dr. Stéphane Petoud is currently an inserm Director of Research at the Centre de Biophysique Moléculaire (CBM - Center for Molecular Biophysics), Orléans, France. The CBM is a research unit of the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and is affiliated with the University of Orléans. He is Group Leader of the “Luminescent lanthanide compounds, optical spectroscopy and bioimaging “ team which is also responsible for the optical platform at the CBM.
Dr. Petoud is also currently an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Pittsburgh where his research efforts will design luminescent lanthanide complexes/nanomaterials that have advanced properties for applications in solution and solid state.
Dr. Stéphane Petoud is widely published and, with over 25 years of research excellence in Chemistry, an experienced and worthy appointment to the role of 4open Editor-in-Chief, Chemistry - Applied Chemistry.
