AAP and AEP to co-produce new all-industry annual conference -

The School Division of the Association of American Publishers (AAP) and the Association of Educational Publishers (AEP) have partnered to produce a new all-industry annual conference.

‘Content in Context,’ scheduled for June 3-6 in Washington, DC, claims to be the industry’s largest annual gathering. Combining their resources and members, AAP and AEP will examine innovation and educational publishing as well as the contemporary policy, business and economic forces impacting the future.

The concept of joining forces was a logical one for the two associations. The conference will address four themes - The Business of Education, Publishing Know-how, Reaching Your Customer and Research and Policy. Claudio Sanchez, a former educator who is Education Correspondent for NPR, will be the featured luncheon speaker.

There will be a special pre-conference on June 2-3 focusing on international education markets. The pre-conference is open to all ‘Content in Context’ attendees.
