ACCP appoints Dr. John N. van den Anker as the new Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Clinical Pharmacology -

The American College of Clinical Pharmacology® (ACCP) has announced the appointment of Dr. John N. van den Anker as the new Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Clinical Pharmacology (JCP). Dr. van den Anker, a distinguished neonatal and pediatric clinical pharmacologist, currently holds the Evan and Cindy Jones Endowed Chair of Pediatric Clinical Pharmacology at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC.

Dr. van den Anker brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role, having served on the JCP Editorial Board for a decade. His extensive record of publishing and dedication to advancing clinical pharmacology is underscored by his active involvement in ACCP since 2002, holding key positions such as Regent, Secretary, President, and Councilor.

Officially assuming the role on January 1, 2024, Dr. van den Anker will be joined by his Associate Editors: Catherijne Knibbe, PhD, PharmD, FCP; Vikram Arya, PhD, FCP; and Honghui Zhou, PhD, FCP. Together, they aim to further the global outreach of JCP and enhance its content.

This appointment marks a significant moment in the ongoing success and impact of The Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, showcasing ACCP's commitment to excellence in clinical pharmacology research and education.
