ACCUCOMS, a Netherlands-based provider of sales and marketing services to scholarly and society publishers, has announced a new agreement to represent Artstor in Latin America.
Starting January 2014, ACCUCOMS will support Artstor's objective to provide high-quality digital images in arts, architecture, humanities, and sciences for teaching and research at nonprofit educational institutions worldwide. ACCUCOMS will assist Artstor, a non-profit organization, with subscription activities and customer services to existing and prospective subscribers in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Mexico, facilitating trial access and ongoing site-wide access for universities and colleges.
In addition, ACCUCOMS will attend relevant library events and conferences on Artstor's behalf. By communicating the benefits of Artstor Digital Library participation in local languages, ACCUCOMS will help to make Artstor's services more accessible to educational institutions across Latin America.
