ACCUCOMS has announced the appointment of Geoff Worton as North America Sales Director. In his new role, Worton will be focusing on publisher facing business development.
Geoff Worton previously held global sales management positions at Mary Ann Liebert, Inc., Nature Publishing Group, Elsevier Science, and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). His move to ACCUCOMS came after announcing his retirement at the end of 2016. Geoff Worton is no stranger to ACCUCOMS, as he has worked as a client for many years. In 2015 he was a speaker at ACCUCOMS’ yearly ACCUfest and was already seen as part of the ACCUCOMS family.
With the launch of the Aggregagent, ACCUCOMS is looking to invest more in societies and university presses in North America. Geoff started his new role February 1, 2017.
