Accucoms, a Netherlands-based provider of sales and marketing services to scholarly and society publishers, has announced an agreement to deliver North American journal sales representation and customer support services to Netherlands based STM publisher IOS Press.
IOS Press publishes more than 80 international journals, ranging from computer science and mathematics to medicine and the natural sciences, and 100-125 book titles a year. Commencing its publishing activities in 1987, IOS Press services a variety of scientific and medical communities in all parts of the world. All journals are available online and an online book platform has been launched.
Established in 2004, Accucoms caters to a global market. The company offers publishers worldwide a sales representation service that includes face-to-face selling, account management, representation at library events, telesales and local language marketing activities.
